Position: Program Manager; Security Incident Response (Open to ND/MN Only)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Program Manager;
Security Incident Response to support a large-scale, cross-organizational program focused on incident coordination, governance, reporting, and customer communications during high-impact security events.

The ideal candidate brings strong program management capabilities, experience supporting technology or cybersecurity-adjacent environments, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate execution activities across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on processes, responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables within the security incident response program.
  • Manage day-to-day program coordination activities, including milestones, work streams, governance, and operational priorities.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation and operational artifacts, including playbooks, workflows, escalation frameworks, dashboards, and reporting materials.
  • Support incident-related reporting and metrics tracking, including KPIs, customer impact insights, escalation trends, and leadership reporting.
  • Coordinate governance rhythms by consolidating stakeholder inputs, documenting decisions and action items, and driving follow-through on key initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of standardized incident management processes, customer communication guidance, training materials, and operational readiness efforts.
  • Partner with technical, operational, security, compliance, and customer-facing teams to improve consistency, scalability, and customer experience across incident response activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, escalation management, reporting, and response readiness.
  • Provide clear and professional communication to stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, cybersecurity, project management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, project management, technology operations, cybersecurity programs, incident management, or related environments.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives in complex or fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting reporting, governance, process improvement, or operational standardization initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management or collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • General understanding of cybersecurity concepts, security incident response processes, or operational risk management.
  • Experience working alongside security operations, compliance, or technology operations teams.
  • Experience contributing to dashboards, governance materials, operational reporting, or executive presentations.
  • Familiarity with process improvement, operational frameworks, or service management practices.
Certifications:

PMP, Agile, Scrum, ITIL, Security+, CISSP, or related certifications are a plus.
