IT Security Analyst

Med Bridge Healthcare is growing, and we are looking for a full‑time IT Security Analyst to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota. This is a full‑time on‑site role (Monday–Friday). Core responsibilities include protecting our systems, safeguarding patient data, and strengthening our cybersecurity posture across a national healthcare organization.

• Monitor systems and networks for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and alerts.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
• Maintain and support endpoint protection, firewalls, and security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS).
• Assist in implementing cybersecurity controls and best practices.
• Support compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits.
• Partner with IT teams to ensure systems are configured securely.
• Help maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans.
• Stay up to date on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or information security analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with security monitoring tools / SIEM, endpoint protection and antivirus platforms, network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS), vulnerability scanning and remediation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to investigate and respond to real‑time security threats.

• Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
• Experience in healthcare IT or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data protection standards.
• Experience with cloud security or Microsoft security tools.
