IT Security Analyst
Med Bridge Healthcare is growing, and we are looking for a full‑time IT Security Analyst to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota. This is a full‑time on‑site role (Monday–Friday). Core responsibilities include protecting our systems, safeguarding patient data, and strengthening our cybersecurity posture across a national healthcare organization.
Responsibilities- Monitor systems and networks for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and alerts.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
- Maintain and support endpoint protection, firewalls, and security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS).
- Assist in implementing cybersecurity controls and best practices.
- Support compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits.
- Partner with IT teams to ensure systems are configured securely.
- Help maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans.
- Stay up to date on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or information security analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with security monitoring tools / SIEM, endpoint protection and antivirus platforms, network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS), vulnerability scanning and remediation.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to investigate and respond to real‑time security threats.
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
- Experience in healthcare IT or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data protection standards.
- Experience with cloud security or Microsoft security tools.
