Dev Ops Engineer – Booz Allen Hamilton, McLean, VA, US. Full‑time, on‑site.
OpportunityEveryone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a Dev Ops engineer, you’ll develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. You’ll help develop container management software to solve our clients’ toughest challenges, strengthen your skills with the latest cloud technologies, and improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration.
You’ll support strategy and design, recommend resources for secure container adoption, and gain experience while supporting critical cloud platforms.
- 2+ years of experience with containerization technologies.
- 2+ years of experience with container orchestration platforms.
- 2+ years of experience managing software deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience developing enterprise cloud‑native solutions and applying basic principles, theories, and concepts.
- Experience with OOP scripting or programming languages.
- Ability to work with AWS or Azure.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience developing enterprise cloud‑native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure.
- Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
- Knowledge of creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Linux Shell Script.

Secret clearance is required.
The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $ annualized USD.
