IT Project Manager: Lead Tech & Business Transformation

Position Summary

The IT Project Manager leads cross-functional initiatives that drive operational and technology transformation. This role partners closely with business leaders and technical teams to align priorities, establish structure, and deliver measurable outcomes in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation
• Define project scope, goals, timelines, and success metrics with stakeholders
• Establish structure and clarity in environments with limited existing processes

Business & Technology Alignment

• Translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly communication
• Ensure alignment across technical and non-technical teams
• Clarify expectations, timelines, and priorities across all stakeholders

Accountability & Delivery

• Drive accountability for deliverables without unnecessary bureaucracy
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively address roadblocks
• Maintain momentum and engagement across project teams

Process Development & Continuous Improvement

• Introduce and refine project management methodologies (Agile, Kanban, or hybrid)
• Identify opportunities to improve collaboration, efficiency, and execution
• Contribute to building scalable project management practices across the organization

Qualifications

Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of experience leading projects involving both business and technology teams
• PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
• Proven ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or evolving environments
