What you will doGuidehouse is seeking a Cloud Architect to design, implement, and oversee secure, scalable cloud and data platform solutions supporting enterprise analytics, data, and AI initiatives. This role provides hands‑on technical leadership and architectural direction across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and Dev Sec Ops environments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design end-to-end cloud and data platform architectures aligned to enterprise analytics, data management, and AI use cases.
- Lead infrastructure, platform engineering, and Dev Sec Ops activities across cloud environments.
- Provide hands‑on technical leadership across AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks platforms.
- Support architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and solution demonstrations with client stakeholders.
- Ensure cloud solutions align with security, governance, resiliency, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with data architects, engineers, operations leads, and program leadership to deliver integrated solutions.
- Guide implementation teams on architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in cloud architecture, platform engineering, or infrastructure design roles.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation.
- Experience supporting enterprise‑scale data and analytics environments.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in the DC area.
- Cloud and platform certifications (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Experience with Alteryx or analytics platform integrations.
- Prior experience supporting financial services or regulatory organizations.
