Shipping Coordinator
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Temporary Part-Time Shipping Coordinator to support our shipping department during a maternity leave coverage period. This position will train alongside our current shipping team before taking over day-to-day shipping responsibilities while our regular shipper provides coverage in customer service. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working with computers and multiple software systems, and capable of managing shipping activities while providing excellent communication and customer service.
Responsibilities- Verify shipment accuracy against shipping orders before processing.
- Prepare, pack, label, weigh, and process outgoing shipments.
- Route customer shipments according to customer requirements and instructions.
- Complete shipping documentation, bills of lading, and shipping records.
- Coordinate customer pickup orders and accommodate special requests.
- Track and trace shipments when necessary and communicate updates to customers.
- Resolve shipping, carrier, and routing issues as they arise.
- Maintain inventory of shipping and packaging supplies.
- Pull and put away parts as needed.
- Print tickets and process orders.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Word.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with coworkers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and independently manage workload to meet deadlines.
- Ability to follow established shipping procedures and work instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous shipping, logistics, warehouse, customer service, or administrative experience is a plus.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Work EnvironmentWork in a graphics and decal production facility, which may include varying temperatures and moderate to loud noise levels. The role involves standing, walking, and the occasional lifting of heavy objects. 7:30am - 4pm Monday - Thursday
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
