Commodity Manager

Marvin is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead sourcing and procurement of key materials for our premium windows, doors, and skylights. You will develop commodity strategies, negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery of high-quality components. Partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to support new product launches, optimize total cost of ownership, and reduce supply risk. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for key materials used in Marvin products
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements to optimize total cost of ownership
• Monitor supplier performance and lead corrective actions as needed
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing on new product introductions and value engineering
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and risks to ensure supply continuity
• Manage forecasts and capacity planning with suppliers
• Maintain accurate data within ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing and supply chain
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and ethical sourcing practices
