Part Time Maintenance Technician

Paramark Corporation is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Fargo, ND, as a part-time Maintenance Technician. This is a 20-hour-per-week position with an hourly wage of $24.00 to $27.00, depending on experience.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure the upkeep of the property under the guidance of the Property Manager and Regional Manager. Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance in a timely fashion.

• Accurately document work performed through our electronic work order system
• Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists
• Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Property Manager
• Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventative maintenance or repairs
• Complete or oversee the completion of the preventative maintenance or repairs
• Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory
• Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors
• Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed
• Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through a friendly and courteous attitude.

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, etc.
• Experience with power tools, including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
• Experience with mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use email
• Yardi / Voyager Experience Preferred
• Exposed to various dirt, dust, and chemicals
