We’re looking for a motivated, people-focused Area Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of apartments and/or townhomes. What You’ll Do

As an Area Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of your assigned properties, balancing leadership, operations, and strategy while fostering a positive, high-performing team environment.

  • Lead and manage daily operations within assigned site offices
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate employees to meet and exceed performance goals
  • Provide regular feedback, guidance, and encouragement to team members
  • Create and manage employee schedules, approve timecards, and monitor productivity
  • Identify training needs and deliver both initial and ongoing employee training
  • Track task completion and employee activity to ensure accountability
  • Collaborate with leadership to address challenges and implement best practices
  • Identify issues and develop effective, proactive solutions

    Travel occasionally between offices or territories as needed
  • Support overall property appearance and general upkeep
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and applicable government programs
  • Learn and follow Campbell Properties policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
  • Prior property management experience preferred but not required
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire others
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to give constructive feedback
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort working across all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized with the ability to create clear, easy-to-follow processes
  • Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and professional growth
  • Weekend availability as needed
  • Familiarity with Yardi property management software preferred not required
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3–5 years of management experience
