Contracts Administrator, Senior Manager

Serve as the Senior Contracts Manager within Booz Allen Hamilton's Defense business supporting the Air Force and critical defense missions and acquisition strategies. Act as the senior leader of a high‑energy, dynamic contracts team, reporting directly to the Director of Global Defense. Direct and coordinate the contract functions with a focus on acquisition client relationship management, terms and conditions, proposal support, project execution, and risk mitigation across a myriad of program types, including systems development, product sales, technical and professional services, and fixed‑price engagements.

Provide expert advice and counsel to internal executives on contractual matters, including advising on contract strategy, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflict‑of‑interest mitigation, and risk management. Interface directly with senior leadership, program managers, and contracting officers to address any issues that may arise during capture, proposal development, contract negotiation, execution, or completion. Develop a strategic vision for the Booz Allen Air Force contracting team, growing the team’s capabilities and offerings to meet business objectives, balancing comprehension of company objectives with current and emerging client requirements and external trends.

Lead a team of 12‑15 contract professionals.

• 10+ years of experience with contract management, including overseeing large, complex proposals, negotiations, and administration for DoD contracts
• 8+ years of experience with managing staff
• Experience negotiating commercial and government contractual documents in accordance with the FAR and U.S. government procurement regulations
• Experience serving as a business advisor or key functional integrator, aligning people, processes and systems to ensure quality support to clients
• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience with FAR Part 12 contracting
• Experience managing complex product and solution sales
• Possession of existing relationships with acquisition clients at Air Force contracting centers

Salary range: USD $ to $ (annualized). Total compensation also includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits; paid leave; professional development; tuition assistance; work‑life programs; dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
