The Tone
This is a full-time Manager in Training position at E.W. Wylie, located in Fargo, ND. E.W. Develop future leaders within the operations organization by providing hands-on experience across key business functions. - Tech Stack:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Training:
Execute structured rotational training across key operational departments. - Customer Relations:
Manage customer accounts and foster strong relationships with customers and professional drivers. - Operations Support:
Contribute to load planning, capacity management, and daily transportation operations. - Efficiency Improvement:
Apply fleet management processes to enhance operational efficiency. - Problem Solving:
Address real-world business challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
- Background:
Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field. This is an entry-level position focused on leadership development. - Experience:
No specific years required. Preferred experience includes logistics, transportation, customer service, sales, account management, or operations, alongside leadership experience gained through work, internships, athletics, military service, volunteer work, or campus involvement. - Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication, excellent organization and time management, ability to manage multiple priorities, strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. - Bonus:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, experience working in a collaborative team environment, familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), CRM platforms, or similar business systems.
