Position OverviewThe Industrial Maintenance Technician ensures that production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems to support consistent, high‑quality output.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Diagnose and repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, PLC‑controlled equipment, and automated systems
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety‑first culture
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root‑cause analysis
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience with PLCs, sensors, drives, and automation systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in industrial environments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
- Experience with specialized manufacturing equipment
- Welding, fabrication, or machining skills
- Familiarity with CMMS systems

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay and Benefits- Pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
