Job Title:
Assembler
Join a team dedicated to crafting high-quality screens for windows using your hands and occasional tools. As an assembler, you will ensure precision in measuring and assembling screens, following written instructions and utilizing various hand tools to produce accurate frames.
Responsibilities- Assemble and produce screens using hands and occasional tools.
- Measure all screens to ensure accurate sizes and sides.
- Work off written instructions to make frames and screens.
- Use hand tools such as tape measure, rubber mallet, and others depending on department.
- Create casements for screens primarily using hands, with occasional use of a rubber mallet.
- Participate in large production runs, potentially assembling multiple screens simultaneously.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8", preferably to 1/16".
- Ability to follow written work instructions for accurate sizing.
- Good hand and wrist strength.
- Flexibility to cross‑train in 3‑4 different departments.

Work EnvironmentWork in a clean, well‑lit production environment with occasional noise near saws. Standing and moving throughout the shift is required, along with very light lifting of screens. Dress code includes jeans, t‑shirts, and steel‑toed boots are preferred. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, totaling 44 hours a week, with potential flexibility based on daily orders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
