Position: OUTDOOR FORKLIFT OPERATOR/YARD WORKER - Prinsburg
Prinsco in Fargo has an opening for a Yard Worker/ Outdoor Forklift Operator. This position offers $21.00/hr, a full benefit package with medical, dental, vision and 401k with a company match.

This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in a safe manufacturing environment, including:

Completing a maintenance inspection of assigned forklift at the start of shift in order to handle all shipping and receiving of products in the safest, most efficient, manner possible.

Accepting load sheets from the dispatcher, coordinating the proper trailer/tractor to use, and transporting all finished goods by forklift to their proper place.

Informing dispatch or mechanic of any mechanical, electrical, or structural defects found on any equipment.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required or in the process of completion and a minimum of three months’ work experience.

Effective communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Forklift experience preferred with the ability to achieve a forklift certification.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds 1/3 of the day, & 75 pounds less than 1/3 of the day.

Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over 2/3 of the workday.

Standing, walking, climbing, or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for over 2/3 of the workday.

Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors.

Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and occasionally in varying outdoor weather conditions.

Ability to work in a loud noise environment.
