Prinsco has an opening for a Yard Worker/Outdoor Forklift Operator. This position offers $21.00/hr, a full benefit package with medical, dental, vision and 401k with a company match.

• Complete a maintenance inspection of assigned forklift at the start of shift in order to handle all shipping and receiving of products in the safest, most efficient manner possible.
• Accept load sheets from the dispatcher, coordinate the proper trailer/tractor to use, and transport all finished goods by forklift to their proper place.
• Inform dispatch or mechanic of any mechanical, electrical, or structural defects found on any equipment.

• High school diploma or GED required or in process of completion, and a minimum of three months' work experience.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Forklift experience preferred with the ability to achieve a forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds one-third of the day, and 75 pounds less than one-third of the day.
• Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over two-thirds of the workday.
• Requires standing and walking for the majority of the workday. Additional physical movements such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required occasionally.
• Good distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors.
• Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and occasionally in varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a loud noise environment.
