RG Biomanufacturing Operator

Job Overview

The RG Biomanufacturing Operator I is responsible for performing tasks associated with Aldevron's Research Grade (RG) services within the Upstream department. This role involves becoming familiar with Aldevron's products and performing most tasks related to plasmid DNA purification.

Location:

Fargo, ND (on‑site). Shift: Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM‑3:30 PM.

• Perform various laboratory practices such as bacterial inoculation and harvest, transformation, cell banking, linearization, and gel electrophoresis using
  
  E. coli bacteria.
• Perform plasmid purification and assessment using agarose gel electrophoresis.
• Train in functions performed across other teams within the Research Grade building.

• High school diploma required.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions and work effectively in a team‑based environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Associate’s degree in biology, chemistry, or molecular biology.
• Microbiology experience.
• Laboratory experience.
