Compensation$22 per hour, paid weekly
Position SummaryThis role is responsible for completing orders by selecting products from the warehouse racks and assembling, palletizing, and/or shrink wrapping products or pallets for customer orders. The position is in the freezer department with temperatures below zero degrees.
What You’ll Do- Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork, and related products in specific quantities for delivery to customers using order sheets or an audio headset.
- Operate powered industrial equipment such as single and double pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including conducting inspections of powered industrial equipment using a safety checklist.
- Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock or low volume products.
- Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure product safety and prevent damage.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior order selecting experience preferred.
- Prior experience operating power industrial equipment preferred.
- Must perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast‑paced warehouse operation.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in multi‑temperature areas such as freezer, coolers, and dry conditions.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must frequently sit, walk, and stand, use hands to handle, grasp, twist objects, tools, or controls, and use both feet for repetitive movements such as operating foot controls. Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed. Work may involve exposure to temperature and humidity changes.
Noise level is usually moderate to high. Must work weekends, holidays, days, nights, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the specified conditions for an 8‑10 hour shift.
