Job Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer II plays a key role in supporting core manufacturing fundamentals—Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost Reduction—through process development and continuous improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with operations and cross‑functional teams to drive process efficiency, implement lean principles, and support capital investment and product development initiatives aligned with the overall business plan.
Highlights of your role- Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across production and business processes
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, standard work, and process documentation
- Deploy lean manufacturing concepts and provide training across the organization
- Serve as a Process Lead on PPT/IPT and cross‑functional projects
- Analyze data to identify root causes and support effective problem‑solving decisions
- Lead or support teams to troubleshoot and resolve production line constraints
- Develop and maintain production line layouts, tooling, jigs, and fixtures
- Provide direction and feedback on project feasibility, risks, and return on investment
- Investigate quality concerns, determine root causes, and implement preventative actions
- Ensure quality standards are met and prevent non‑conforming product from leaving the facility
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 1 year of project management experience
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing process development or process improvement experience
