Job Description Summary
Perform a variety of tasks in the closing process of the blade
Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Perform closing tasks following work instructions
- Wear all personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety instructions regarding chemical usage
- Remove infusion bag from shells using crane
- Prepare shells for closure – vacuum all debris in shells, side grind flange area, apply brackets, mark up all areas
- When shells are repaired and prepped, apply glue to flanges and web
- For demoulding of the blade, remove root plate and install demould ring on root along with aerial lift to remove blade from mould using cranes.
- Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines
- Ability to lift or carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull heavy objects.
- Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
- Ability to work with hands for an extended period.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Requires wearing of respirator.
- High School Diploma/GED or related experience
- Previous Manufacturing experience
