Seasonal Door Shop Worker

Door Assembler

The employee performs a variety of duties including assemble doors, unload stock and inbound materials, and prep and load doors for shipment.

• Assemble door components per customer specifications
• Perform regular inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
• Fabricating doors and windows
• Fill customer orders in a timely & efficient manner
• Lift/carry 65 lbs frequently
• Lift 75-84 lbs frequently
• Push/pull 44lbs frequently
• Experience with woodworking power tools
• Safely operate a forklift to assist in the handling of materials
• Sweep and clean work area
• Assist in counting inventory
• Assist in reducing operating costs and increasing productivity
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers

• Must have skills working with basic woodworking and metalworking tools.
• Must be able to follow written instructions so shipping papers can be easily followed and needed information can be filled.
• Able to work under minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks, and interact with others in a professional manner.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of carpentry or construction experience is a plus
