Manufacturing Controls Supervisor

Marvin is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Supervisor to lead the controls and automation systems that keep our premium window and door manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll oversee PLC- and HMI-based control systems, coordinate troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement in uptime, quality, and safety. You'll guide a small technical team, collaborate with engineering and production, manage vendors and documentation, and help implement new equipment and process upgrades in our people-first, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support day-to-day operation of manufacturing control and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and drives to minimize downtime.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring controls issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and production on process improvements and new equipment.
• Maintain controls documentation, standards, and change management.
• Coordinate vendor support and manage small controls and automation projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards in all controls work.
• Train and mentor technicians and operators on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
