Overview
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Fargo, North Dakota.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients coming to the cath lab, to include but not limited to cardiac cath with intervention, device implants, peripheral vascular, stroke, structural heart, STEMI and Stroke patients.
- Comfortable with administering conscious sedation, and using ACLS/BLS. Completing nursing assessments.
- Equipment used in the unit/dept. (EPIC, CUPID, GE MAC LAB, EKOS, balloon pumps, IMPELLA, Angio Vac, FFR, IVUS, etc.).
- On occasion, float to other units/departments as needed.
- 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during cases.
- All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility; scrub color:
Provided Ceil Blue. - Note if clinician has previously worked for Sanford Health; if so, an end date must be 6 months prior to submission.
- Cancellation policy:
Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks. - Charting System: EPIC.
- 2 years of cath lab experience; preferable critical care experience (ICU).
- Active ND or Compact RN license (willing to get).
- BLS and ACLS – must be AHA.
- General duties: provide nursing care in cath lab; types of procedures include interventional cath labs, device implants, peripheral vascular, stroke, structural heart, STEMI and stroke patients.
- Shifts and schedule: 4/10 hour shifts Monday thru Friday 7:00–5:30; on-call every 2–3 weekends and one night per week.
- Floating to other units/departments as needed.
- Equipment familiarity: EPIC, CUPID, GE MAC LAB, EKOS, balloon pumps, IMPELLA, Angio Vac, FFR, IVUS.
