PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fargo, North Dakota.

• Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday

• Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
• Charting System: EPIC
• Unit Overview:
  • 15‑bed Medical/Surgical unit
  • All private rooms
  • Receives patients discharged from the ED but not yet assigned to a unit
• Nurse‑to‑Patient Ratios:
  • Days: 5:1
  • Nights: 6:1
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Not eligible if the traveler lives within 60 miles of the facility.

Local travel rate applies for those living 60–80 miles away (rate reduced by $8.00).

• Minimum 2 years Medical/Surgical RN experience
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
• EPIC proficiency
• BLS (AHA only)
• Ability to work in a busy, fast‑paced environment

• Strong Med/Surg clinical skills
• Experience with rapid assessments and admissions
• Ability to float to other Med/Surg units as needed

• Orientation provided to new staff in a new, fast‑paced Medical/Surgical unit
• Includes unit workflows, equipment, documentation procedures, and standard patient care processes
