The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care to patients through assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role collaborates with inter‑professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring competency within the full scope of nursing practice. The RN cares for patients at all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide patient assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions.
• Coordinate and plan care, maintaining compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules.
• Maintain required departmental competencies and certifications.
• Deliver care under a 14‑week contract, with options to extend or transition to another Sanford site.

• At least one year of RN experience.
• At least six months of travel experience.
• Live within at least 60 miles of the assigned location.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, or multi‑state licensure via NLC.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.

Weekly pay with stipend included in the base rate. Eligible for Sanford Benefits. Contracted for 14 weeks, with option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site.
