Eventide Fargo is currently seeking a Part-Time RN/LPN to work the day shift. Set 12- or 8-hour shift schedule for every 3rd weekend/every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) with a holiday rotation. Shift differential added to base wage; weekend hours include a $2 differential.
Ideal Candidate- Must have an active ND RN or LPN license or be able to obtain upon hire.
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
Job Duties
- Assesses residents' health status and needs through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
- Plans, implements, and evaluates residents' individualized plans of care and updates them as necessary. Plans of care include interdisciplinary care plans, physician orders, and NA-R care plans.
- Administers medications and treatments and monitors each for effectiveness.
- Provides direct nursing care to residents whenever necessary according to established nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provides accurate documentation in the residents’ records according to established resident care policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provides effective leadership to subordinate staff, which may include disciplinary measures.
- Ensures that work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts and according to established nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provides information, education, and support for residents and their families.
- Ensures adequate staffing levels for a scheduled shift and assists in finding replacements when needed.
- Communicates the needs of the residents to all resident care staff on the unit.
- Interacts with physicians, advanced practitioners, and health care facilities as needed, according to the needs of the residents.
- Continually updates nursing skills and knowledge by attending in‑services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings.
- Assists with resident care conferences.
- Assists in orientation/training of new team members.
- Encourages and assists residents to attain their highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
- Responsible for promptly reporting any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights per policy.
- Complies with rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services.
- Assumes accountability for managing their individual electronic timecard on a daily basis.
At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive pay range of $36–$40.32 for RN and $29–$32.48 for LPN per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
