Eventide Fargo Care Center is seeking full-time Day Shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) CNAs to work 64 hours per pay period. The shift is available with every other weekend and a holiday rotation. Weekend (+$2/hour) shift differentials available!

The CNA assists in providing for the residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs in accordance with established nursing care procedures under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the supervisor in charge.

Ideal Candidate

• Requires a current North Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant license

Essential Job Functions

• Provide individualized attention, encouraging each resident’s highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Carry and follow the assigned resident care plan at all times.
• Attend to residents’ needs which may include grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, etc., as indicated on the care plan.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each resident; interact with residents with warmth and compassion.
• Follow policies and procedures regarding safety of residents, others, property, and yourself.
• Comply with rules and regulations set forth by the North Dakota Department of Health and the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services.
• Understand residents’ rights, including the right to be free of restraints, abuse, and neglect. Promptly report any incidents or evidence per policy.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment.
• Promptly answer residents’ call lights and alarms.
• May perform tasks such as checking vital signs, resident weights, applying lotions, etc.
• Lift, move, and transport residents using gait belt, transfers, Hoyer/standing lifts as identified by the care plan.
• Assist and escort residents for appointments and activities, as needed.
• Document and record care provided and other pertinent information.
• Follow proper safety and infection control procedures (handwashing, gloves, disposal of soiled materials).
• Assist with resident personal laundry as needed.

Compensation

We offer a competitive pay range of $22.00–$24.64 per hour for CNAs, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
