Registered Nurse; RN - Med​/Surg Neurology

Job Description

Responsible for organising and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The Med/Surg unit offers an opportunity to work with a variety of patients and diagnoses, while collaborating with a supportive team committed to patient care.

Neuro unit scope of patients:

• Stroke patients
• Post‑op back and neck surgeries
• Patients needing neurological work‑up for dizziness, confusion, and weakness
• Medical and surgical patients including COPD, abdominal pain/GI bleeds, hernia repairs, ENT procedures, and post‑op urological patients

Organise and provide nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on licensure and job descriptions. Contribute to meeting the facility’s mission and goals, and ensure compliance with the Joint Commission, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

• Education Qualifications – BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
• Licensure/Certification Qualifications – Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment;
  Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.

Eligible candidates may receive a hiring incentive of up to $7500 (ADN) and up to $10,000 (BSN).

Shift Rotation – Day/Night Rotation

Shift Start/End – 12 hour shifts rotating 7am‑7pm & 7pm‑7am

Hours per Pay Period – 72

Compensation – $38.22 – $57.33 per hour

FTE – 0.9

Weekends – Yes
