Job Summary:

Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in Fargo. This position involves providing care to general medical-surgical patients within a 10-bed department. The role requires collaboration with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse must demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing expertise, utilizing appropriate standards tailored to the patient population. The shift is scheduled for 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday, starting on 09/28/2026 and concluding on 12/28/2026.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  2 years of Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) experience, recent travel experience (completed and not in first travel), BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), ND or compact state RN license, experience working in a hospital with a minimum of 250 beds, level 2 or higher trauma center, must have recent Med/Surg experience within the last year, must badge in and out at the facility, scrubs: navy blue, must have experience working with Epic Electronic Medical Record, Accu Dose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, Telemetry
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience in larger hospital settings and recent travel experience within the last year
• Additional Information:
  Candidates must meet licensure requirements and be willing to wait for license submission. This role involves floating to any Med/Surg unit within Fargo as needed and working on a 10-bed department with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 during day shifts and 6:1 during night shifts.
