Medical Surgical Floor nurse position located in Fargo, specializing in adult medical and surgical patient care. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to a wide variety of patients, including behavioral health admits, within a 32-bed inpatient unit. The position requires flexibility with rotating day and night shifts, with the opportunity to float across all medical-surgical units in the facility.

• Location:
  
  Fargo, ND (must be within 80 miles of the facility; local travel rate for those living between 60 to 80 miles, with an $8.00/hour reduction for candidates living within 60 miles)
• Schedule:
  
  12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights, every other weekend and holiday; approximately 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Active RN license valid in North Dakota or a compact state; BLS certification from AHA;
  Min 2 years recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting with 250+ beds; trauma Level 1 experience; travel experience (not currently on a first travel assignment);
  Epic EMR experience; minimum 1 year med/surg experience in a busy hospital environment
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with Epic EMR, trauma Level 1, and behavioral health admits
• Additional Information:
  The unit utilizes equipment such as Philips monitors, bladder scanner, Acuivein, and Omnicell; float to any med/surg unit within Fargo; nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights; scrub color is navy blue; must badge in and out at the facility; candidates must specify if they have previously worked for the organization, with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission;
  
  cancellation policy permits client cancellation up to 12 hours before shift.
