American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Level 1 trauma center, requiring an active ND or compact RN license and prior large hospital experience.

• Acute care setting on a 32-bed Med/Surg Surgical Inpatient unit within a Level 1 trauma center
• Cares for adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients with a wide range of needs including Trauma/Orthopedic Trauma
• Unit is TJC certified for its Hip Fracture Program
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights
• 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation; schedule cycles may vary between days, nights, or a mix
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Float requirement to Medical Surgical units at other Fargo locations if needed
• Uses EPIC EMR and Acu Dose equipment

• Active ND or compact RN license required
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in a large hospital setting (200+ beds) required
• Experience working in a busy Level 1 trauma center required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Must be willing and able to float to any Med/Surg unit across 3 Fargo locations

• Responsibilities include electronic documentation in EPIC, patient assessments, and providing skilled nursing care to trauma, medical, and surgical patients
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Scrub color required:
  Navy Blue
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Local travel rate applies for candidates living 60 to 80 miles from the facility
• Candidates who previously worked for the health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
