Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Fargo, North Dakota, 58104!

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Fargo, ND | Acute Care

Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

• Provide nursing care to adult patients on a 32-bed medical-surgical unit, all single rooms
• Perform head-to-toe and focused assessments, administer medications, and document all cares
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team and update patients and families on the plan of care
• Advocate for patients as needed and demonstrate thorough understanding of a variety of disease processes
• Utilize equipment including EPIC, Omni Cell, Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, and Zebra phones
• Float to other medical-surgical units within the Fargo area as needed

• Active North Dakota RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Active BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent bedside nursing experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds)
• Experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center
• EPIC experience required – please indicate on resume where utilized
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Clear and effective communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Flexibility and willingness to float to various units and locations as unit needs dictate

• Work in a structured, supportive unit environment with a thorough orientation program including classroom and hands-on unit training
• Flexible self-scheduling options with mindful rotation management to minimize frequent day/night flipping
