Local Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
Local travel registered nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Fargo, North Dakota. The role delivers direct, compassionate patient care in a supportive clinical environment while earning competitive weekly compensation. Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct and compassionate patient care in accordance with facility policies
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records
- Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient conditions
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Active registered nurse (RN) license in North Dakota or compact state license
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) required
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced healthcare environments
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical nursing experience preferred
- Previous hospital or acute care experience highly preferred
- ACLS certification preferred depending on unit assignment
