We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing behavioral health team. As a PMHNP, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management services for patients across the lifespan. You will work closely with therapists, nursing staff, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
- Deliver services through in-person and/or telehealth platforms as appropriate
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current PMHNP-BC certification
- Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care
- Previous outpatient psychiatric experience
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults
- Telehealth experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Experience with integrated behavioral health or multidisciplinary care models
