American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a Level 1 trauma hospital unit requiring travel experience and an active ND or Compact RN license.

• Acute care Med/Surg Neuro unit (6AB) within a Level 1 trauma hospital
• 32-bed unit with patient ratios of 4-5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights
• Uses Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps
• 3x12-hour day shifts, straight weekends (flexible), with every other weekend and holiday required
• Schedule cycles may rotate between days and nights, with care taken to avoid frequent flipping
• Floating required to any Med/Surg unit at any of the 3 Sanford Medical Centers in Fargo

• Active ND or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in a large hospital setting (200-250+ beds)
• Prior travel nursing experience with successful contract completion required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Neuro patient experience preferred but not required

• Responsibilities include patient assessments, documentation, nursing task completion, and medication administration
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Candidates living 60-80 miles from the facility are eligible at a reduced local travel rate
• Previous Sanford Health employees must disclose this information and must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
