Veterinarian (Full-Time, Part-Time, or Relief)

Minn-Kota PAAWS — Supporting local pets and the families who love them.

Minn-Kota PAAWS is a non-profit spay/neuter clinic located in Fargo, ND dedicated to providing financially accessible, high-quality veterinary care to our community. We offer affordable wellness services, spay/neuter, and dental care, and in 2026 we plan to increase our availability so more pets and families can get the care they need. We work every day to help pets thrive and to support pet owners with compassionate, high-quality, affordable medicine.

If you want to make a meaningful impact alongside a skilled and caring team, we want to hear from you.

At PAAWS, you don’t have to fit into a rigid mold. We encourage our veterinarians to pursue the areas of medicine they’re most passionate about while practicing within our core services, including general medicine, preventive care, wellness exams, spay/neuter, surgical procedures, and dentistry. Shape your career around what inspires you most — while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Our schedule is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring a four‑day workweek with no weekends or on‑call duties, so our veterinarians can focus on patient care, community impact, and personal well‑being. We are open to full‑time, part‑time, or relief coverage and are committed to finding the right fit for both our team and the community we serve.

At Minn‑Kota PAAWS, you’ll deliver safe, effective, high‑quality care to a diverse caseload while helping us thoughtfully grow our clinical services in 2026 and beyond.
Not experienced with high‑volume surgery settings? We’re happy to train the right candidate to succeed in our service model.

As we work to expand access and deepen our impact in the community, you’ll play an important role in shaping how we serve pets and their families. We value a culture built on teamwork, ongoing learning, and clear, compassionate client communication—empowering pet owners with knowledge and strengthening the human‑animal bond every step of the way.

Minn‑Kota PAAWS is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Eligible Employer.
