As a Temporary Mosquito Vector Control Aide, you'll be part of a team that protects public health while learning fascinating skills—from identifying mosquito species to operating specialized equipment. It's a job that matters, and you'll see the results of your work every day!

• Collecting and analyzing mosquito samples
• Applying pesticides safely and effectively
• Operating ATVs, UTVs, and trucks
• Maintaining detailed records and equipment
• Assisting with insect research and species identification

This is a full-time seasonal position, typically Monday–Thursday (40 hours/week), with occasional Fridays based on mosquito conditions. We're willing to work around your class schedule over the summer!

• High school diploma or better
• 18+ years old
• Physical ability to lift 40+ lbs

Experience in the following areas is beneficial
, but not required
:

• ATV riding
• Pesticide handling/applying
• Spray equipment operating
• Insect research
• Sampling standing water for larval mosquitoes
• Applying pesticides in various environments
• Operating trucks, ATVs, and UTVs to assist in pesticide applications
• Separating and identifying different species of adult mosquitoes from mosquito traps
• Maintaining records and equipment
