About Us

MNL is a full-service ecological restoration company dedicated to Healing the Earth. Our services include native seed and plant production, shoreline and wetland restoration, prescribed burns, conservation grazing, vegetation management, and ecological consulting. We also support solar and infrastructure projects with pollinator-friendly practices and land stewardship expertise.

Our Construction Department installs native landscapes through seeding, planting, erosion control, and site construction across Minnesota and the Fargo, ND area.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Construction Field Laborer II to join our Glyndon, MN based Construction team. This role performs the same core field and labor work as our other Field Techs, but with greater experience, efficiency, and independence.

You’ll be trusted to carry out tasks with minimal supervision, help newer team members learn the work, and support foremen in maintaining productivity and quality in the field.

This position involves regular travel to job sites, including overnight stays, especially during the busy spring–fall season.

What You Will Do
  • Perform hands-on labor tasks including native seeding, planting, erosion control installation, and site construction support.
  • Work efficiently and safely with hand tools and jobsite equipment.
  • Assist with layout, staging, and organization of materials at job sites.
  • Read and follow site plans, maps, and instructions with minimal oversight.
  • Support foremen by helping onboard and guide Field Tech I staff.
  • Maintain safe, organized work areas and uphold MNL safety standards.
  • Complete daily work logs and assist with basic project documentation.
  • Travel to project sites as required, including overnight stays.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • 2+ seasons of experience in construction, landscaping, agriculture, or similar outdoor labor roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain productivity in the field.
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices and jobsite awareness.
  • Ability to read and follow site plans and project directions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Strong reliability, communication skills, and team mindset.
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours during peak season.
