This project is a Soybean Commodity Survey funded by USDA-APHIS. The person hired into this position will lead the survey efforts with the goal of early detection of invasive or emerging soybean pests and pathogens. This will be a collaborative project between several faculty members within PPMB specializing in fungal pathogens, nematology, entomology, and the NDSU Plant Diagnostic Lab.
Work Schedule12‑month, full‑time with possibility of renewal based on performance and funding.
Hiring Range$50,000‑$55,000/ depending on experience
Minimum Qualifications- Experience in applied, field‑based research.
- Experience in diagnostics of plant pathogens and/or insect pests.
