This is a part-time or temporary non-benefited position, with expected employment date range of July 15, 2026 - September 14, 2026.

Description & Details:

* Conduct research on the synthesis, development, and optimization of biomaterials for various scientific and engineering applications.

* Perform biomaterial characterization using appropriate analytical, physical, chemical, and biological techniques to evaluate material properties and performance.

* Manage, organize, and maintain research data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.

* Process and analyze experimental data using statistical and computational methods to derive meaningful scientific insights.

* Interpret research findings, identify trends, and develop evidence-based conclusions to support ongoing and future research.

* Prepare technical reports, research manuscripts, grant documentation, and other scientific publications.

* Present research findings at laboratory meetings, conferences, seminars, and stakeholder engagements through oral presentations and scientific posters.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams to design experiments, troubleshoot methodologies, and achieve project objectives.

* Maintain laboratory equipment, follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality assurance protocols.

* Contribute to the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of research projects in biomaterials and related fields.

Work Schedule:

20 hrs/week

Advertised Pay:

$15.63/hour

Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Msc in Environmental and Conservation Science

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in Environmental and Conservation Science
