Barista

As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences. Your interactions may be brief, but our guests count on you to start their day with a smile and a great cup of coffee. You will prepare a variety of espresso and coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, chai, and specialty drinks, both hot and iced, while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards.

Attention to detail, proper milk steaming, drink accuracy, and speed of service are key to delivering the elevated yet approachable experience our guests expect.

You will also actively develop trusting and transparent relationships with your peers on the service team and other associates of the hotel. As a team member within Aparium Hotel Group you will work with a phenomenal group of peers who insist that you are collaborative, humble, experienced and open-minded – no egos are allowed.

Your shift begins at 6:30 AM, with the restaurant opening at 7 AM. Weekends are required.

Your past experiences have led you to understand that there is an art + science to the how and what a hospitality operation’s professional is responsible for. You are what your friends might affectionately call a “coffee nerd.” You inhale deeply every time you pass a coffee shop, taking in the rich aroma. Nothing pleases you quite as much as getting the perfect crema on your espresso pulls.

Your passion for coffee is only rivaled by your passion for hospitality.
