Job Overview

As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you are at the heart of delivering a seamless and personalized shopping experience. You will support all At Your Service activities, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks—all while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role requires strong multitasking, problem‑solving, attention to detail, and a customer‑first mindset.

  • Every day starts with a positive example
    . You arrive energized, wear your name badge with pride, greet teammates with warmth, and help ensure the At Your Service areas are clean, organized, and ready for customers. You set the pace by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and top‑selling items, and staying up to date on trends and promotions.
  • You lead through action by welcoming customers with genuine hospitality, making eye contact, and starting friendly, personal conversations that build lasting relationships. Assist customers in all aspects of total store fulfillment, including BOPS, be proficient in all required systems, and keep the collection area organized for a friction‑free pickup experience.
  • You help maintain a shoppable space by recovering merchandise and keeping the pickup and return areas clean while ensuring timely completion and curbside delivery of BOPS orders.
  • They always finish strong
    —share our Loyalty program benefits, make sure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank‑you, often walking the package around and using the customer’s name.

Full‑time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week, while part‑time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week. All schedules include weekend shifts. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability.
