Freight Flow Associate

Overview

• Operate forklift following company standards and guidelines; safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and pallets.
• Receive stocks and organize merchandise from distribution centers and suppliers; manage inventory flow and complete required paperwork and logs.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials as required, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged items, setting up displays, and ensuring promotional and seasonal merchandise is prominently displayed.
• Process defective merchandise per policies; monitor sanitation, food safety, shrink, and security; stage, receive, sort, and deliver merchandise as needed.
• Ensure club pick up orders are filled and staged according to policy; assist with pickups and perform occasional audits for accuracy; monitor inventory levels and shrinkage.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely; report unsafe conditions; notify management if forklifts are not in proper working order.
• Identify customers needing help with technology services and assist; model and help others with technology services.
• Identify shrink opportunities and take steps to fix problems; maintain equipment and ensure products are organized and stocked correctly.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  90 days of prior forklift experience/certification; ability to safely use pallet jacks; must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Customer service experience, retail experience, supervising a team.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00 per hour. The actual rate will meet or exceed applicable minimum wage. Premiums may apply in specific circumstances. Eligible benefits and eligibility requirements apply and may change over time.
