As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills. You will establish retailer relationships, be the face of Hallmark, and collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels. You may also support seasonal resets, installations, and work with other products from partner companies in the stores you serve.

Salary and Schedule Details
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $16.00 to $18.00 depending on your skills and experience.
  • We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
  • Hallmark part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, and other coverage.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

  • This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours for this position are between 6‑8 hours per week

  • Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Your Role and Responsibilities Will Include
  • Day-to-day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You will use technology to communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.
  • Holiday support: You will work additional days and extended hours during the weeks leading up to, and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Occasionally you may be required to work on the holiday itself.
  • Department resets: You may be part of a team tasked with installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Remodelling assignments are typically scheduled two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision: You will work within Hallmark’s field organization and collaborate with other merchandisers to support team members as needed within your territories.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand regularly, and may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

Qualifications
  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You can read, write, and understand English.
  • You can grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • You can operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • You have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
  • You have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
