Merchandising Lead

Position Summary

Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, providing guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology, assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting the company’s products and services. Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties to associates, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, providing direction and guidance to associates on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines.

Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the Open Door Policy, participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting coaching and evaluating associates, receives and stocks supplies and merchandise, organizes and maintains the sales floor, conducts safety sweeps, handles hazardous materials, ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation, handles claims and returns, zones the area, stocks, arranges and organizes merchandise, sets up cleaning and organizing product displays, removes damaged goods, signs and prices merchandise, identifies shrink and damages, monitors food and merchandise quality, manages the picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, develops and implements processes and practices to meet business needs, promotes compliance with company policies and ethics, leads and participates in teams, supports a culture of belonging, models integrity, serves customers and members, delivers results, makes decisions based on reliable information, and strives for excellence.

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00*

• The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.
