Overview
The Meat Clerk II provides meat preparation services for customers, fills service counters and self‑service cases, and delivers exceptional guest service. The role uses meat operating tools and equipment up to 60% of the time and, in stores with a smokehouse, assists the Smokehouse Manager by creating sausage and other smokehouse products. The employee ensures the quality and freshness of all meat, seafood, and smokehouse items, engages guests with samples and suggestive selling, keeps cases fully stocked, and follows all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Responsibilities- Provide meat preparation services and assist customers at the service counter.
- Fill and maintain service counters and self‑service cases.
- Use meat operating tools and equipment for up to 60% of the shift.
- Create sausage and other smokehouse products in stores featuring a smokehouse.
- Deliver exceptional guest service, including product education and suggestive selling.
- Maintain product quality and freshness for all meat, seafood, and smokehouse items.
- Keep meat and seafood cases fully stocked.
- Understand and comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Pay RangeUSD $15.50 – $20.50 per hour.
