The Team Lead is directly responsible for merchandise flow, from receiving donations to merchandising the sales floor. He or she will be a subject matter expert in pricing and point of sale and will be cross-trained in all areas of the production and retail environment to include, but not limited to, providing excellent customer service, ash-handling, receiving and processing donated goods, pricing, and stocking.

The Team Lead will oversee processing in assigned areas, provide direction and guidance to other team members, and provide shift oversight when management is off-site.

The Team Lead will serve as the subject matter expert within one of the seven specialization areas listed below, with the ability to support the other areas as operational needs require.

• Clothing:
  This role oversees daily operations in the clothing department, supports team members, and ensures tasks are completed efficiently. They serve as the subject matter expert for this area, providing guidance and support to maintain organization, productivity, and positive customer experience while keeping their department stocked and running smoothly.
• General Merchandise:
  This role oversees daily operations in departments including bags, books, hardware, linens, jewelry, and sporting goods, supports team members, and ensures tasks are completed efficiently. They serve as the subject matter expert for this area, providing guidance to maintain organization, productivity, and a positive customer experience while keeping departments stocked and operating smoothly.
• Footwear:
  This role oversees daily operations in the shoe department, supports team members, and ensures tasks are completed efficiently. They serve as the subject matter expert for this area, providing guidance and support to maintain organization, productivity, and positive customer experience while keeping their department stocked and running smoothly.
• Bric-a-brac:
  This role oversees daily operations in the bric-a-brac (housewares, antiques, toys, etc.) department, supports team members, and ensures tasks are completed efficiently. They serve as the subject matter expert for this area, providing guidance and support to maintain organization, productivity, and positive customer experience while keeping their department stocked and running smoothly.
• Holiday:
  This role oversees daily operations in the holiday department, supports team members, and ensures tasks are completed efficiently. They serve as the subject matter expert for this area, providing guidance and support to maintain organization, productivity, and positive customer experience while keeping their department stocked and running smoothly.
• Presort:
  This role oversees the donation drop off area, assists donors, and ensures donations are received and processed efficiently. They serve as the subject matter expert for the donation area, providing guidance to maintain organization, productivity, and a positive donor experience while keeping the donation area clean, safe, and running smoothly.
• Sales Floor:
  This role oversees daily sales floor operations, supports team members, and ensures tasks are completed efficiently. They serve as the subject matter expert for this area, providing guidance and support to maintain organization, productivity, and positive customer experience while keeping their department stocked and running smoothly.
