Position SummarySales Consultant responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in‑store tastings, and servicing accounts. The territory includes Fargo and Grand Forks.
Responsibilities- Manage an established sales territory: selling, servicing, account management, administration and accounts receivable.
- Ensure consistent customer contact.
- Properly plan and execute sales initiatives.
- Handle all customer related issues promptly and friendly.
- Fully understand products and pricing schedules.
- Make effective sales presentations and achieve assigned company objectives.
- Identify and nurture new accounts.
- Use all available POS to enhance selling efforts.
- Focus on merchandising basics: display size and location, shelf position, cold boxes, counters, windows, etc.
- Follow necessary steps when making sales calls, perform reliable inventory checks, communicate properly to minimize order mistakes.
- Properly rotate products on shelves, cold boxes and displays.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Handle all paperwork issues properly and timely.
- BA/BS college degree or related industry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Goal‑driven and results oriented.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Local candidates preferred; no relocation package.
- Prior route sales experience (highly preferred).
