Your Responsibilities:- Freight Procurement Discover and book profitable freight within your zone to ensure high equipment utilization.
- Customer Engagement Develop strong relationships with customers to align expectations, address inquiries, solve problems, and identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Driver Collaboration Collaborate closely with drivers to create dispatch plans, answer questions, and ensure that they're equipped for success.
- Analyze and Review KPIs Understand and review relevant key performance indicators and market trends to develop strategies to increase the performance of and enhance your region's profitability.
- Business Development Identify new business opportunities by discovering and onboarding new customers as well as strengthening business relationships with current customers.
- Team Collaboration Effectively collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of communication and a seamless customer experience.
- Review and Negotiate Rates Review customer contracts to ensure that rates are accurate, competitive, and align with current market conditions.
- Adaptability Demonstrable ability to quickly adjust and adapt to evolving situations in a fast-paced dynamic environment, maintaining productivity and effectiveness.
- Sales Success Proven ability to drive profitability along with experience identifying and closing new business opportunities.
- Excellent Communication Strong communication skills to interact and develop strong relationships with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
- Time Management The ability to manage your time and effectively prioritize competing responsibilities in an environment with frequently shifting deadlines.
- Problem-Solving Demonstrated experience identifying, analyzing, and solving complex problems in a timely manner.
Associate's degree in logistics, business management, or a related field and at least one (1) years of experience in account management, sales, or a related field. An equivalent amount of education and experience may be considered.
- Leadership At least two (2) years of experience managing staff or team projects.
Bachelor's degree in logistics, business management, or a related field and at least three (3) years of experience in account management, sales, or a related field. An equivalent amount of education and experience may be considered.
- Transportation Experience At least one (1) year of experience in the transportation or logistics industries.
Schedule:
- Salary Pay will be decided based on experience.
- Schedule Full-Time;
On-Site;
Monday - Friday;
Quarterly on-call responsibility.
