This Sales Consultant in Training position supports, services, and maintains accounts in the Fargo and surrounding area. The role involves stocking shelves, coolers, and building displays, following up after deliveries, and servicing shelves from the liquor department storage areas. Candidates may also be responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in‑store tastings, and servicing accounts.

This position is intended to train new personnel who will eventually have a sales territory.

• Travel around assigned territory to service accounts
• Check quantities of goods on display and in stock; service the accounts
• Fill shelves from displays and back stock to minimize out‑of‑stock items
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers
• Communicate with Sales Representatives regarding changes in buyer preferences, out‑of‑stock inventory, shelf space, and any concerns encountered during business hours
• Build and develop trust and a strong working relationship with retailers by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a "can‑do" attitude
• Perform other work‑related tasks and special projects as assigned

• Work experience in the liquor industry, such as bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc. is a plus
• Goal‑ and results‑oriented
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize work
• Competitive, self‑motivated, and customer‑service oriented
• Professional written and oral communication skills mandatory
• Reliable transportation with valid insurance
• Good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50‑pound cases, sometimes repeatedly
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package)
