Overview
Immediate Opening for a Full-Time Loss Prevention Officer
Responsibilities- Identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and Closed Circuit TV cameras
- Write incident reports
- Interact with local law enforcement as needed
- Provide courtroom testimony when required
- Pre‑employment criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3‑4 hours at a time
- Reliable transportation
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Clear and accurate verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports
- Assertive yet controlled in confrontation
- Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
- Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated
- Previous loss‑prevention or law‑enforcement experience is a plus but not required
- Criminal‑justice or related studies a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
- Paid holidays
